Northeast Campus J. Ardis Bell Library

The J. Ardis Bell Library on the Northeast Campus provides a collection of books, periodicals, and electronic resources that primarily support the courses taught on our campus.

  • Our research classes will teach you techniques for more efficient searching both on the Library Databases and on the World Wide Web.

  • Now, take those first few steps! Our Library Pathfinders and online tutorials will help get you started in your research.


In addition to the above services the J. Ardis Bell Library on the Northeast campus is a 37,580 square foot facility that offers the following:
  • 39 computers are available upstairs near the Reference Desk. These units are VDI (Virtual Display Interphase) machines that are restricted in what can be accessed and are of limited ability compared to the PCs. They do offer access to the web and the full Microsoft Office Suite. These units require a login. Guest logins are available to community patrons.
  • There are two express print stations for student printing use. Both of these units are available near the Reference Desk.
  • There are six library catalog stations throughout the library. These stations are permanently set to the library's online catalog to search for books within the collection.
  • Five Group Study Rooms on a first come, first serve basis
  • The Computer Learning Center with 30 Dell PCs, 3 Apple Computers and 2 color scanners.
  • The Heritage Room includes Special Collections and seating for 36. The Heritage Room may be reserved for special presentations.
  • 30 Laptops for 2-hour in-house check-out
  • 15 older laptops available for one week checkout that can be taken outside the library.
  • Quiet Study Space
  • Wi-Fi Connection
  • E-readers for check-out
  • The Library Classroom for Library Instruction and special presentations

  • NE Campus Copy Center is located in the library

Veteran's Center

The NE Veterans Center, located downstairs in the library in room NLIB 1143, is designed to server our veteran students and offer a place to meet their specific needs while here at Northeast campus.
